Texas Textbook Wars

As you may have heard (unless you were living under a rock for the past few months) The Texas Board of Education has been under fire for its recent changes to the textbook standards for our state.

Many have said that the board was trying to "Whitewash" the history books, put organizations like the NRA and the Moral Majority in a positive light, remove Thomas Jefferson from the list of important historical figures, and so on and so on.
